COURT RULES
Operating Timeslots
Velocity Badminton is open daily, and playing times are divided into three categories:
- Weekday Mornings: 5:30 AM – 1:00 PM
- Peak Hours (Weekdays): 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Regular Hours:
> Weekdays: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM, 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM
> Weekends: 7 AM – 11:00 PM
Open Play vs. Court Reservation
- Peak Hours (Weekdays 4:00–8:00 PM)
> Open play is not available.
> Every player must participate via a court reservation. - All Other Hours (Weekday mornings and regular hours):
> Players may choose between open play or court reservation.
Court Usage Rules
- Court Usage Rules
> Can only be reserved during Peak Hours (Weekdays 4:00–8:00 PM).
> Outside of Peak Hours, these courts are available for open play only. - Courts 1 – 6 and Courts 13, 14:
> Can be reserved at any time - General Rule:
> If a court is not reserved, it may be used for open play.
> If a court is reserved at any time, it must be immediately vacated by open play users.
Court Reservation Rules
- Minimum Players: A reservation requires at least 4 players.
- Reservations can include any combination of Members and Session Pass holders.
Member Court Reservation Benefits
- Each Member is entitled to 2 hours of reserved court time per week at no additional charge, irrespective of who has made the actual court reservation.
- If a Member exceeds 3 reserved hours in a week, they will be charged $3 per hour.
- Non-member court reservation during peak hours:
> If a member adds them to a reservation, non-member will be charged $11/hr
> If 4 to 6 non-members want to reserve a court, they will be charged $40/hr/court
Session Pass Access & Charges
Session Pass Entry Fees
- Weekday Morning Session (5:30 AM – 1:00 PM): $10 per Session Pass
- Regular Hours: $12 per Session Pass
- Peak Hours (Weekdays 4:00–8:00 PM): Session Pass entry is not available; participation must be through reservation fees only.
Reservation Surcharge for Session Pass Holders
If a Session Pass holder chooses to reserve a court:
- Weekday Mornings: Additional $3 per hour per player
- Regular Hours: Additional $3 per hour per player
General Policies
- Non-marking court shoes only. Please do not lean on the nets.
- Reservations must be made in advance through the Velocity Badminton booking system.
- Reservations can be made 14 days in advance
- Reservation and cancellation policy
> Cancellations made 24+ hours before the reservation incur no penalty.
> Cancellations within 24 hours count as a penalty cancellation; cancellations within 4 hours are not allowed.
> After 3 penalty cancellations, reservation privileges will be suspended and management approval is needed to reinstate the privilege. - All players (Members and Session Pass holders) must check in at the front desk before entering the courts.
- We strongly recommend players to vacate the training court as soon as their class ends. To provide them more playing time, we encourage them to use the below free session passes. Students who are enrolled in classes with a frequency of:
> Two times/week will be provided 1 free session pass per week.
> Three or more times/week will be provided 2 free session passes per week. - Court time begins and ends strictly as per the reservation schedule.
- All players must comply with facility rules, including equipment use and sportsmanship standards.
- Velocity Badminton reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to amend, modify, or replace any of its policies at any time, with or without prior notice, whether to better serve its customers or for any other reason it deems necessary or appropriate.
- Only non-alcoholic clear liquids are allowed in the gym. Other beverages and food items are strictly prohibited inside the gym.
- This is a cashless business: no cash transactions are accepted.Premises are under video surveillance at all times.
- All players are required to sign a liability waiver as part of registering for any class, membership, or session pass. It is each player’s responsibility to read, understand, and comply with the terms of this waiver.
- Parents are not permitted inside the gym during training sessions, except when:
> The parent is actively playing.
> The child is 9 years old or younger—in which case, the parent may observe only from the mezzanine level, not the gym floor. - Membership / class cancellations require a minimum of 30 days’ notice.
- Membership Pause Policy:
> Velocity Badminton does not offer a membership pause or hold option. All memberships are continuous and non-refundable.
> If a member chooses to cancel their membership and later decides to rejoin within 60 days of the cancellation date, the $60 registration fee will be waived.
> Please note:
Members must select from the membership options and pricing available at the time of rejoining.
Membership plans are subject to change, and the same option that was previously cancelled may no longer be available. - Velocity Badminton reserves the right to Suspend playing privileges and/or memberships for violation of facility policies.
